The WBZU (Education and Training Centre Ulm for Innovative Energy Technologies) was founded in 2002 to provide public relations work and vocational and advanced training in the field of renewable energy technology. Renowned stake-holders from industry and trade as well as research and education cooperate within this association and its networks. WBZU offers training courses and seminars in innovative energy technologies with a focus on electric mobility and energy storage. Theoretical and practical training specifi cally centres on the aspects of lithium-ion batteries, fuel cells, hydrogen and block heating stations. The vocational and advanced training course programme targets different groups: Seminars, workshops and symposia for industry, trade and science experts. Advanced training for teachers and lecturers at schools and universities. Lectures and practical training for students. Lectures and information events for students, teachers and the general publicIn addition, WBZU is actively involved in projects on a state, federal and EU level and provides independent information to decision-makers in politics and industry, and also to most members of society.
